About this object

Miner's lamp; a kerosene lamp used by miner's. This consists of a square oil reservoir with an adjustable wick at the top. A maker's plate on the front reads: "Justrite, Patented Sept 1914".

The reservoir is attached to a canvas belt with buckle, and has a metal piece which appears to fold up to create a handle.
