Bottle; a dark brown, pottery bottle with a bulbous base and narrow neck made to take a cork or stopper. This has an embossed mark on the base.
The bottle is thought to be Ming Gei ware, made in South China between 1870 and 1890 and brought to the New Zealand goldfields containing Tiger rice whisky.
