Book of family Recollections; titled H. Raymond Turner an autobiography with family contributions about his life. He served as a home missionary at Owaka Baptist Church 1919 - 1920.

While there, he met Arnold Turner's mother, Mary Jane Nisbet Reay. The Reays lived on a farm at Waronui near Milton, but had family connections in Owaka. Arnold Turner's great-grandfather John Reay had been one of the party which did the original survey of the Catlins area in 1867 and later that year had taken up 100 acres there.

Late in his life, Arnold Turner's father wrote his autobiography, which included a chapter on his time in Owaka. This has now been published in book form.
