About this object

Steerage Passenger's Ticket for the ship 'Robert Henderson' in the name of Glasgow Logan, age 31, Mrs Martha Logan, age 30, and their daughter, Martha, age 8.

Mr Glasgow Logan originally came to New Zealand in 1862 and returned to Ireland in 1870 to bring his wife and daughter back. Also on this trip was Mrs Logan's sister, Margaret McDowell, aged 17 who was persuaded by her mother to travel with her sister for company.
