A diary written by Willie Bradfield as a boy, recording the weather and his daily farm chores. Willie also records the chores of his father and mentions other names, including his brothers.

He lists chores under the names of Archie, Dad, Johnnie, Felix, Harry, Charlie and Frank.

Some excerpts:

Thursday August 20th, 1908 - Showery. Archie & dad were putting barge boards on the henhouse and feedhouse. Johnnie was at school and I took the horses to get them shod.

Friday August 21st - Sky overcast. Dad & Harry were clearing a ditch. Archie was ploughing. Johnnie was at school and I was rabbiting, etc.

Tuesday August 25th, 1908 - Sky overcast. Dad and Harry were digging a ditch. Archie was ploughing. Johnnie was at school and I was setting traps.

Thursday January 7th, 1909 - Showery. Archie was sowing turnips for half a day and I was setting traps for half a day, the rest we were hoeing turnips.

Saturday July 24th, 1909 - Archie and I were ploughing, etc. Dad was at the bridge. Charlie was stumping, etc.
