About this object
Model-U Dress Form kit; a small box containing the necessary equipment for making a customised dressmakers form. The kit includes an instruction booklet, gauze slip, a large amount of paper tape and a packet of shellac.
The model wears the gauze slip and the dampened paper tape is wound around her torso. As the tape hardens and is cut from the model's body, a customised dressmakers form is created.
