Dress and jacket

About this object

Dress and jacket; a matching dress and jacket of a thick, tan-coloured material. The dress is knee-length with three quarter length sleeves. Collared, with three, large decorative buttons over the dome closure. There are very narrow belt loops at either side of the waist. Mostly machine-sewn, with hand stitched hem.
The jacket is short, also with three quarter length sleeves. Made to be left open.
These date to about the 1950s.
