About this object
Mourning bonnet; a simple, handmade bonnet of black material. The front is decorated with a black brooch and the back with a satin bow. Two black ribbons are attached for tying at the chin.
This piece is either unfinished or was made as a prop/costume, as it is not lined and the stitching is fairly rough.
