My Grandmother was Margaret Jane FALCONER,(of Balnacoil)married James WRIGHT, (of WRIGHT's Rd) in 1913. My father was Ira Falconer WRIGHT. I have in my possession several large old original photos of members of the family that I wish to give to the museum now it has a new home. I visited the old building in 2000-01 and after arriving in Christchurch on my return journey,a cousin very kindly gave me the portraits as I am a researcher for these families. Peter Gemmill WRIGHT and Mary DEMPSTER are James' parents. Peter and his younger brother Thomas both came to NZ and first settled in Green Island,Dunedin. Thomas married Catherine McLEAN,1868 and settled at Port Molynuex. They had five sons.
