About this object

Mantel clock; a Victorian, classical-themed mantel clock made of a black stone and brass. The clock is highly decorated with columns and carvings mimicking the Parthenon Marbles. Various parts are etched with Victorian, floral motifs. This belonged to J D Calder of Long Point.
