James Brugh's shipboard journal, London to Port Chalmers,1853, on board the ship "Rajah" (James travelled with his father and mother who also settled in South Otago, his father's name was also James) and Doctor James Brugh's notes on the Catlins, 1935. Very early days on the sheep runs of South Otago/Southland.
