About this object

White cotton gown. Round neck with lace trim, long sleeves with same trim. Front gathered at the neck and onto a sewn on the middle of a tie belt at waist. Drawstring tie of cotton tape at neck. Gathering at neck, wrists and shoulders. Back placket and plain skirt and hem. 'Lupton' in indelible ink on placket. French seams.
