Name/Title

Angel and Aeroplane

About this object

Mixed media abstract work on paper. The tilted flat black monoprint at centre represents a 'window' from an aeroplane. An abstracted angel motif is painted onto the black field in thin white oil paint. The central area is flanked by geometric lines and fields in thick oil paint. These structures are rendered from different perspectives and reference architectural plans (combination plan, elevation/graphic image) and work against the flat black plane to create an internal space within the composition.
