Contractors threshing wheat at Hawthorn Farm in 1911. A large stack of wheat is near the thresher driven by a traction engine. The thresher is located near Hawthorn Farm house with gum trees visible. Robert "Bob" Hattaway [the third] is second from left and Grandfather Robert Hattaway is to the left of the traction engine.
The farm was once 230 acres and was owned by four generations of the Hattaway family from 1873.
