Small framed landscape depicting lake and mountains in background, church and trees in foreground, made of human hair (hairwork). Gold paint and pen detailing to give 3D effect. Pencil on back reads 'Picture made from human hair of the family around 1895-1900' [speculated that it has earlier date]. Stamp on back bears mark of German bookbinder and framer: 'Otto Kottner, Buchbinderei, Einrahmungs-Geschaft, Gummersbach, Rhis [?]'
