Red & black Military Pipe Band Jacket: 8 brass buttons down front "NZ Volunteers" in centre with 4 stars, 3 buttons on cuffs, 3 buttons on front & back flaps, 1 either side of back seam above tails, 1 on each lapel, lapel embroidered with letter "H AKD", both sides of collar badge with man holding St. Andrew's silver cross. 2 fob pockets under front lapels, cuffs black trimmed with buff edging, pocket inside L side, shoulder flap L side with No:5 handwritten, 2 hooks & eyes on either side of collar opening, machine stitched hand finished, lining jungle green cotton, label inside neck "HB New Zealand Clothing Factory", brass belt hook either side of waist.
