Frances Preston was one of New Zealand's earliest women doctors. Her service included locum, hospital and sanatorium work in Dunedin, New Plymouth, Rotorua and the Hokianga, where she worked with the extraordinary Dr G.M. Smith. Later she became deeply involved with the Women's Division of Federated Farmers Movement. Includes index.
