About this objectA woman standing in front of a model of a Fencible pensioner's cottage built for Miss E M Nixon in Tainui Garden of Memories, Howick. The maori Cultural group Te Aroha Hou dismantles the cottage and took it to the Borough Council Depot in Moore street for restoration. It was not restored. The model was built for Miss Nixon in 1969.
