About this object

The plaque outside the Howick Play centre formerly Thomas Heath's Fencible cottage, the home of his daughter Miss Heath, in Nelson Street. It was demolished in November 1968 due to borer and dry rot. The fence has a large sign naming the placentre and giving a phone number.
