About this object

Front and side view of Normangarth on Cook Street. It was the home of the Rev. Noble Dole Boyes from his retirement as Vicar of All Saints in 1925-6 until his death in 1970. He bought the property from Mrs Marion Hurst, his furute daughter-in-law's sister. His daughter-in-law was Mrs Hazel Boyes, Ernest Wilfred's wife. Rev. Boyes originally owned the land from the house at 63 Cook Street to and down Abercrombie Street forming a large wedge shaped section. + 1 enlargement
