The Sir George Seymour under sail. It was one of the first 3 ships to bring the Fencible soldiers to Howick in 1847. It left Gravesend, England 12th August 1847 arriving in Auckland 26th November 1847. From an oil painting by Howard, National Maritime Museum. 2 mounted prints, 6 b/w and 2 sepia varying sizes, 1 large coloured print.
