About this objectA restored cottage built for the Royal New Zealand fencibles at 111 Victoria Street, Onehunga showing a trellis fence, part og a garage and garden. The cottage was a double unit built for Fencible John Beeching and later John Regan and William Turner had half each. John Beeching was dismissed from the Royal NZ Fencible Corps on 20/6/1850 and his pension stopped. Fencible John Ryan took over the vacant cottage 4/9/1858. The cottage was restored in 1995.
