Looking over Howick Wharf to the western end of the Beach and the cliffs, showing boats drawn up on the beach and houses including The Cliffs and Granger's Homestead. The tide is receding. Taken from a sepia postcard an original of which is attached to a page from a phootgraph album donated by Bryon Somervell. Others photos on the page sow people in a rowing boat, a girl on a bicycle and a girl with a horse; dated 1915-6. Photographs on the rear of the page were taken in Egypt. 1 sepia copy and 3 b/w - differing sizes.
