A postcard showing Howick Beach in 1909 showing a scow unloading bricks from Granger's brickworks at Whitford, The Cliffs, board and holiday accomodation, Granger's homestead, Four Winds (home of John Gill) Wyatt's Boarding House, right with their boatshed and accomodation in the foreground. (The boatshed is also named as Dud Langdon's hut on other records.) The back of the postcard is a letter to J H Hume, Esq. of Hamilton. Also shows Howick Wharf. There is also a note by Rev. Robert Hattaway pertaining to the Langdon family. 1 postcard, 1 sepia and 3 b/w enlargements, 1 print (hand coloured?) has been mounted on card. The inscription on the back says - Mary Isabella Worsley - husband was - Draper, Howick (was Rishworths.) This mounting was done by Oliver and Walker, Newmarket.
