About this object

The Eastern end of Howick beach with people on the beach and in the water. A boy with a long pole is walking near an old gentleman (possibly Kay Krapp's grandfather. Also showing a villa (The Cliffs) above the beach extreme right, Tui Langdon's kiosk selling refreshments on the beach and an advertisement for the kiosk and boat hire from Wyatt and Langdon, bathing sheds and trees. A billy full of hot water from the kiosk cost 3d. 2 sepia postcards (Howick Beach 4896), 1 b/w and 2 b/w enlargements. Also a piece about Howick beach from East Life, March 2015 - 2016.516.14
