Is this the cottage where lived Cinderella's Fairy Godmother, do you think? "Daisy Dawn" nas sketched its thatched roof and latticed windows to make a picture for a New Tear calendar. If you would like to make one for mother, first cut out the picture and paste it on thin cardboard, leaving a surrounding margin to form a frame. Next, while it Is still slightly damp, paint all the loveliest hues in your paintbox into the spreading garden. With a piece of gay ribbon make a loop at the top and a tag at the bottom to hold a small calendar. _ ' ;. (Evening Post, 18 November 1939)
