Name/Title
Photograph [Shooting party at the Wyndham Rifle Range]
About this object
A black and white print taken off an original photograph depicting a shooting party at the Wyndham Rifle Range. Two of the men are lying in a prone shooting position. You can just see the targets at the far end of the range. At least one of the group is from Mataura, namely T.A. Connor (far left). Thomas A. Connor was a Mataura based tinsmith and plumber.

Interestingly tussocks still dominate what is now a pastoral landscape.
