Inscription and Marks
The bottom exterior circumference is engraved with degrees and points of the compass, as is the floating compass inside the housing. The makers name, product number and year of manufacturer are engraved on the exterior of the base.
The leather case with buckled strap has 'T.G. Quilter, S.F.S' engraved on it.
