Dear Aunty,

Just a few lines to let you know that I am still doing well. The good weather we were enjoying for the past few weeks has disappeared and we are getting colder weather now with a bit of rain and today it is feeling very wintry so I guess the good weather has gone by for this year. I am pleased that Forrie is doing so well with the (chaff) cutter but I suppose he will have trouble getting men to work it. How does Dick like Camp life? I suppose he will have about a hundred and one girls in Wgnt when he leaves. Well I trust you are all quite well as I am at present.

From your loving Nephew Alex.
