About this object
This clock has had a charmed life. It was saved from the Paper Mill’s water race after the 1913 great flood. For the next 50 years, the Mill’s boilermen glanced at it before blowing the steam whistle signalling shift change overs. Mill workers, Hec Macdonald and Allan Grant gave it a third life for the Mill’s centennial in 1976.
