Wellington Zoo is home to New Zealand’s native treasures and endangered exotic animals. Get up close and personal with wildlife including a range of extraordinary native birds and reptiles. Wellington Zoo is committed to a future in conservation education by bringing animals and people closer together.
You will have the opportunity to meet Tahi the one legged kiwi at 1.15pm each day in the Wild Theatre, Tahi will be accompanied by a guide who will be there to answer questions.
If you’re keen for a truly unique animal experience, try a Close Encounter and interact with cheetahs, red pandas, giraffes and many more engaging animals.
