About this object
This black and white photograph pictures Margaret Flood as a young woman, holding a baby. They are shown standing in a domestic garden, and it is possible that the photograph was taken at Clendon House, the childhood home of Margaret’s mother who was the daughter of Captain James Reddy and Jane Takotowi Clendon (nee Cochrane). Two other photographs were also taken of Margaret and the baby (XCH.1572) (XCH.1573)

Margaret was the daughter of Frances Louisa Clendon and Robert Patrick Flood. She had two sisters, Kitty and Mary, and two brothers, Thomas and George. She was born on 14 November 1898 and married Florence Daniel Donovan on 10 April 1928 in Okaihau.

This photograph is a modern copy made from the original.
