About this object
Crown Grant deed, Claim No. 15 to James Busby of 25 acres at Waitangi in the Bay of Islands. The deed is signed by Governor Robert A.Fitzroy on 16 May 1844 and is printed on vellum. There is an embossed seal in the upper left corner. 340 x 380mm (HW). This is one of nine Land Grant deeds, a gift from the Busby family.
