This full length dress has a flared skirt with inverted pleats at the centre front and a yoked bodice, pleated and gathered for bust shaping.
It has short sleeves with cuffs, a 'sweetheart' neckline and padded shoulders typical of the period.
Side belts at the waist have press studs for fastening.
This dress has a CC41 label which refers to the clothing utility scheme - a result of wartime rationing.
