About this object
These few remaining cups, saucers, plate and bowl were once the treasured possessions of Dr John Danforth & Mrs Sarah Greenwood. They would bring out this set when Bishop Selwyn paid his periodic visits to Motueka. He would stay with the Greenwoods and if there was a new arrival into the househod (they had thirteen children) the bowl would be used for the christening.
