About this object
A warrant certificate for the various British Commonwealth countries was provided from Imperial Headquarters in London which comes in many varieties. These examples are for the position of Commissioner which are purple on white. There are two varieties identifiable by the initials under the sketch of the Scout, one is RBP the other just BP (for Robert Baden-Powell) and the third has ther text "Overseas Branch" in the fine print along the bottom while the other two are "Overseas Unit" . These certificates were signed by the Chief Scout in london and then countersigned by the Chief Scout for New Zealand, the Governor General.
