Name/Title
1960's Rover Scout green woollen uniform
About this object
A green woollen short sleeved short used by the Rover Scout section (18 to 31 years of age) as their uniform. This example was used by a member of the 1st Lower Hutt (Richmond) Rover Crew and has a namestrip on the sleeve to this effect. It also has an unnamed Wellington Area/Province badge on the pocket. To the top left front are 4 event badges that were participated including the 1957 World Jamboree in England, and the 1959, and 1966 New Zealand Jamborees. A Queen's Scout badge on the sleeve indicates the owner achieved the highest youth award before moving into Rovers.
