About this object
A carved totem by UK Scouter Don Potter (named carved in on reverse side) featuring a Scout arrowhead, a kiwi, a Maori figure, and a male youth, present by Lord Baden-Powell to the Ngapuhi's at the 1929 3rd World Scout Jamboree held at Arrowe Park, Birkenhead, UK. Ngapuhi was the name the New Zealand Scout contingent to this event called themselves, and a small engraved metal plaque records the presentation.
