Printed on the back, 'POST CARD....'

The postage stamp has a cancellation stamp dated 1909.

The post card is addressed to, 'Master Hugh Allison / c/- Mr Allison / Hazeldell / Puerua'.

The written message reads, 'Dear Wee Hugh/I got your Post Card &/I was very glad to get/it. I hope you dont pull/Hazel's hair now. we Miss /Hazel very much. She/is such a good wee girl./I hope she will be down/soon. I hope wee Jean/is keeping well. all the/little girls & boy have the cold/here./Forrie'.
