Dessert spoon; a silver dessert spoon with fiddle pattern handle. The hallmarks on the back of the handle suggest that it was manufactured in Birmingham by the Potosi Silver Co.

I found this identical spoon 40 years ago(although it is over 8inches long)in Salvage, Newfoundland. It was on our property wedged in some rocks in a cove and I still have it today. Does it have value?

I have a set of 6 with all the markings

Potosi Silver - 5 markings as the 5 markings the same as on the Internet

All desert spoons are have on the front a letter "J" engraved

I live in UK
