About this object
Nickel holder for coins. The coins are spring-mounted for firm hold in the 5 different sized circular holes. The tin opens in two and features a design of foliage on both the front and back. Engraved with "Best Nickel Plated" and "Made in England" on opposite edges. This coin holder belonged to Mr. Conder's grandmother who was born in 1855.
