About this object
A purple, or faded blue one-piece swimsuit made of interlock (the forerunner of what we now call 'stretch knit'). Styled with a round neckline and short sleeves, and a modesty skirt covering the short legs. The sleeves, shorts and skirt are all finished with cream 2.5cm interlock edging. The garment is fastened on each shoulder with buttons and buttonholes. One button is missing form each shoulder. There is a crescent shaped self fabric reinforcing back neck.
