1. Portrait photograph of 11059 Pte. James Quinlan Leslie and another soldier just out of Trentham military camp. Taken from a photo - postcard in April 1916 just before embarkation to the war. James died of wounds in Belgium 4th October 1917 while serving with the 6th Reinforcements, New Zealand Rifle Brigade, 1st Battalion, F Company. 2. Photograph of the grave of James Quinlan Leslie at Nine Elms British Cemetery sent by the office of the Minister of Defence, Wellington.
