About this object
China milk jug with thin gold leaf hand painted on rim and handle of jug. The rhyme 'Hey Diddle-Diddle' and musical notes are also handpainted on the outside of jug. There is a handpainted picture of a black cat playing the fiddle with a yellow mouse and an orange cow jumping over a yellow moon that has a smiley face, painted onto the side.
